Missing sex offender sought by Manitowoc police Herald Times Reporter • February 10, 2009 MANITOWOC — A convicted sex offender has left his Manitowoc home and failed to report a new address to the sex offender registry, prompting city police to issue a call for information on his whereabouts. Karl L. Johnson, 40, had been living in the 1200 block of South 13th Street. He was convicted in 1991 in Illinois of aggravated criminal sexual assault and is required to register any changes of address until Aug. 29. 2015. Manitowoc Police suspect Johnson has relocated to Chicago, but are unable to confirm his location. He is 5 feet, 10 inches and 165 pounds with black hair and black eyes.
