Bates is wanted for probable cause on 1st Degree Battery involving a 2-year-old girl. Police say a family member brought the toddler to the emergency room and she was suffering from 2nd- and 3rd-degree burns to her body. PB Police Looking for Man after Child Suffers Burns Reported by: KARK 4 News Monday, Dec 22, 2008 @03:39pm CST The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking for help from the city of Pine Bluff and surrounding areas in locating Michael Bates. Bates, 26, is wanted for suspected battery involving injury to a two-year-old child who is being treated in Little Rock for 2nd and 3rd degree burns to her body. Police were called after the child was brought to Jefferson Regional Medical Center's emergency room Sunday afternoon by a family member. She was later transferred to Arkansas Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
