Public asked for help to locate missing Moorhead sex offender The Forum Published Thursday, January 15, 2009 Moorhead Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Level 3 sex offender who is not living at his registered address. In December, Wesley Duane Johnson, 45, registered his address as being in the 700 block of Eighth Street South in Moorhead. The state of Minnesota has since reviewed Johnson’s criminal history in North Dakota and ranked him as a Level 3 sex offender, those deemed most likely to reoffend, according to information released today by Moorhead police. Authorities have determined Johnson is no longer living at his registered address and he has not shown up for work. Johnson is reported to be a welder. According to information released by Moorhead police, Johnson has a history of indecent exposure and masturbation in public places and in the presence of females ranging in age from 5 to adult. Moorhead police are asking anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts to contact them at (218) 299-5103.
